Worship

In addition to Sundays, the church also gathers midweek from September to May for worship, discipleship and service.  At WednesdayNiteAlive!, worship is a 30-minute meditation service held in the intimate setting of Trinity’s Chapel.  In the midst of a busy week, this is time for Getting Quiet with God.  We are drawn in by the silence, the singing, the candlelight and the community.  We are nourished on psalmody and Scripture and participatory prayers.

After the service, visitors are welcome to join us for a simple supper.  In addition there are classes both before the service and after the meal.
Worship at Trinity is both traditional and contemporary: it connects us to our roots, and it equips us for living in today’s world.

Sunday Mornings
8:00 am        In the Chapel
10:30 am       In the Sanctuary

We gather praising God, remembering our baptismal identity as children of God, and    confessing our own human brokenness and need.

We listen to the written words of Scripture and the spoken words of preaching in order to hear a new and present Word from God for our lives.

We respond to the gift and the challenge of this Word by praying for the world and all who are in need, by offering ourselves to do the work of Christ in the world, and by celebrating the   sacraments of the church in baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We are sent out, challenged and blessed, to love God and neighbor, and to serve Christ in our daily living through the power of his Spirit.
